Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean and is an island of varied character, combining a magical blend of romance, history and relaxation with cosmopolitan cities and a modern infrastructure. It is situated at the north-eastern of the east Mediterranean.

Famagusta is located in the east coast of Northern Cyprus, in the Eastern Mediterranean. This city is full of historical interest for the history lovers. Today there is so much to see and do. In the centre of old city there are great cafes, restaurants and shopping areas. Famagusta coastlines are stretched with beautiful beaches and holiday facilities to suit everyone.

Kyrenia is in Northern Cyprus, filled with historical buildings, superb scenery, and spectacular natural un-spoilt sandy beaches; Kyrenia makes the perfect destination for any holiday.

Limassol is a popular tourist destination that is located on the south coast Cyprus and has plenty of history & culture making this an interesting place that is definitely worth exploring. Limassol is Cyprus's largest seaside resort and has a beach of dark coarse sand and pebbles.

Paphos region is full of scenic and historic beauty. From the pine forest clad slopes of the Troodos mountains, down to the rocky coastline, and crystal clear waters. Coral Bay is famed for having one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island, and with its sparkling clear waters, safe swimming and sport facilities, it’s not surprising that it’s a favourite with tourists and locals alike.

Weather, flight and travel information in and around Cyprus

With its intense Mediterranean climate, the island’s weather is easy to predict. The summer months of June to September are hot and action-packed. August in particular is the peak of Cyprus’ tourist season. October to May are the quieter months of autumn, winter and spring. Rain falls mainly in autumn and winter and rare outside these months.

Most visitors to Cyprus arrive by air and there are many airlines that offer charter flights and travelers may be able to pick up cheap last-minute tickets with charter companies if they shop around.

Travelling between the South and North is easy nowadays, since the restrictions on crossing the border have been eased. However, you are only allowed to cross at designated checkpoints.
